The goal is to develop applied innovation projects with companies to respond to the requirement to bring the teaching staff up to date in terms of science and technology, promoting innovation both in small and medium-sized companies and in vocational training centres.
For this, in addition to the knowledge and experience of our teaching staff, we make the facilities and equipment of the vocational training centers available to companies.
Within this environment, the following projects have been developed.
Tolosa Town Council, promoted by the Tolosaldea Garatzen Development Agency and the Zumardia Association, intended to install a bicycle workshop in a strategic point of the town's bidegorri, for which it was decided to join two modules located in the garbigune. We were asked to customise the work of this association process, the terrace and the slope, and the work equipment, as the work of the different trades had to be included, and the work had to be very specific and customised.
The geometries of the pieces had to be made to measure and special, which made the work difficult and hence our participation in the design and execution.
A project based on the preparation of technical consultancy and the interpretation and organization of the assembly strategy for the staff of a Gipuzkoa company. To do this, analysing the use, taking measurements, thinking of a design, building parts, testing them and making adjustments in size and design until the right design is reached.
One of the lines of work in this company is the preparation and machining of test tests for the railway and aeronautical industries, and when manufacturing them, in the case of certain tests, the requirements of the standard are difficult to meet from the point of view of adjustments and measures.
For this reason, the analysis of current machining strategies has been replaced by a rethink, with new parameterizations and applications.
This company needs to create the digital twin of a large sculpture that it has in its hands, and for this, with the knowledge and resources that we have in our center, the complete piece has been scanned and the CAM file to be created to be able to carry out 3D printing later.
It has been a complex job, due to the holes and complex shapes of the piece, but also attractive since it is a beautiful challenge to take steps in this learning process.
This company, for an emerging 3D printing machine, once the design and structure had been determined, an aluminum structure had to be created, and taking advantage of the knowledge and resources of the welding teachers at our school, the structure had been built. Since it's not normal material, it's been a nice challenge.
Assembly, conditioning and commissioning of special cold rooms for the fertilisation of agricultural seeds
A centre that carries out agricultural studies needs special adapted cold rooms that are able to control the exact temperatures and humidity for the fertilisation of agricultural seeds, and that are able to control the exact temperatures and humidity, and to see the process.
